The virtues of being pregnant:

There is no doubt that a lady’s being pregnant and giving start is satisfying an aim of sharee‘ah that is pricey to Allah, which is increasing the progeny of the Muslims who proclaim the Oneness of Allah, the followers of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). This is the predominant thing on which the lady should focal point her intention for the duration of her pregnancy.
It was once narrated that Ma‘qil ibn Yasaar stated: a man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and mentioned: i have observed a lady who is of fine lineage and gorgeous, but she cannot have kids; must I marry her?
He mentioned: No.
Then he got here to him a 2nd time and he informed him not to marry her.
Then he came to him a 3rd time and he said: “Marry the one who is loving and prolific (could bear many kids), for I will be proud of your large numbers before the nations ”
(Narrated by way of Abu Dawood, 2050; al-Nasaa’i, 3227; classed as saheeh)
Since of this intention to which we have now referred, if being pregnant is difficult for the lady and she or he bears it with persistence, there are a lot of advantages a good way to come to the mum by way of it, including the next:

The virtues of Pregnancy in Islam:

  • Psychological practise for the challenge of raising the child which is the fundamental and most complex of all tasks, in which they (the mothers and fathers) elevate the little one to have a good attitude and become religiously committed for the sake of Allah, and they hope that Allah will decree reward for them seeing that of the moves of their righteous son, in order that he's going to become an ongoing charity for them after they die and consequently they are going to attain a satisfactory deal of reward which no person is aware of besides Allah.
  • The difficulties encountered through the pregnant woman, including pain and health problem, and wellness, psychological and physical problems in lots of instances, will all carry pleasant reward in an effort to be recorded for the pregnant lady, in sha Allah. Allah will reward the Muslim for the whole thing that befalls him on this world. Even if a thorn pricks him, Allah will expiate there by some of his sins, and the pains of labour and being pregnant are a long way greater than that.
  • Even if we expect that this woman dies in childbirth, she is going to die as a martyr. That is indicative of the advantage of her situation. The Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned: “the lady who dies in being pregnant or childbirth is a martyr.
(Narrated via Abu Dawood, 3111; classed as saheeh with the aid of al-Nawawi in Sharh Muslim, 13/sixty two). And he mentioned: the one who dies in childbirth, i.e., she dies with whatever (the baby) inside, not separated from her.

Acts of worship:

As for the acts of worship that the pregnant woman can do, they are the entire acts of worship that the Muslim does by day and by night time, reminiscent of praying, fasting (provided that there is not any fear of damage), giving charity, reading Qur’an, most often reciting the adhkaar that are prescribed in sharee‘ah, treating folks kindly, touring household, taking inventory of oneself, and striving to obtain the great attitudes, actions and words.
Possibly some of the matters that the lady must focal point on during this interval is finding out about sound approaches of raising kids, studying books on this subject or paying attention to useful lectures by scholars on it, whether or not that has to do with ethical upbringing, wellness, psychology, pedagogy, and so forth, in guidance for the fine mission with which Allah has entrusted the mother and father, which is the trust of elevating and caring for the kids, so that the father and mother could embark upon it with potential and perception and reap the pleasant results, and acquire the pleasure of Allah on this world and in the Hereafter.
In regards to targeted rituals or adhkaar specifically for the lady throughout pregnancy, we did not be aware of of any such thing in Islam.
In the end we should point out that there are some hadiths which indicate that the wife’s pregnancy will deliver a reward like that of one who fasts and prays at night time for the sake of Allah, and that there are numerous other rewards for giving delivery, breastfeeding and weaning the baby, however they're all false and fabricated hadiths, so it is not permissible to narrate them or speak of them besides via warning individuals about them.
