What is heaven???

heaven:

It is described as “highest place” or a “paradise”.Islam have a deep concept of heaven(jannah). The life place after death but heaven will be given to those who will do good deeds.
It is true that Muslims will go to heaven anyway. However, the issue is will he go to heaven straight away? This depends on his actions and the extent of him executing the orders of Allah Ta’ala. If he was successful in that and attained Allah Ta’ala’s pleasure, it is hoped he will enter paradise without going to hell. If he was relaxed in executing the orders of Allah Ta’ala, then there is much reason based on references in shariah that his entrance in paradise will be delayed. He may well have to endure punishment in hell for his complacency. One cannot simply be satisfied that one will go to heaven. An effort has to be made to stay away from hell as well. That is by being vigilant in fulfilling the dictates of iman. It is then hoped that Allah Ta’ala will favour us with immediate entrance in paradise. In sha-Allah.
Heaven is a reward for momins. It considered most beautiful home after death, where all the wishes will be fulfilled without asking. There will be no sorrows and depressions.Every one wants to know what is heaven and we are curious about what it is like. Only Allah knows, but He describes some of it for us in the Qura’n. What will heaven be like?

Greetings:

1st of all people of heaven will be greeted by angels with peaceful words as it is stated in Quran,
“Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring. Angels shall enter from every gate (with the salutation): ‘Peace be with you, that you persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!” (Al Quran 13:23-24)

Gardens:

jannah means garden. It simply denotes that heaven is filled with gardens, greenery and flowing waters
Quran says:
“But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is gardens, beneath which rivers flow” (2:25).

Thrones of dignity:

In heaven all comforts and ease will be given to ahl e jannah(people of paradise)
“In a lofty Paradise, where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood. Therein will be a running spring. Therein will be thrones raised high, and cups set at hand. And cushions set in rows, and rich carpets (all) spread out” (88:10-16).

Age:

The age of the man and woman of paradise will be 33.
It was narrated from Muaadh ibn Jabal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, beardless with their eyes anointed with kohl, aged thirty or thirty-three years.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2545.

 Appearance of ahl e jannah:

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Alaah be upon him) said: “Allaah created Adam in his form, sixty cubits tall”¦ and everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, sixty cubits tall” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5873; Muslim, 7092

milk and water rivers:

rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes…” (Quran 47:15)

Everlasting Life:

“For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath – an eternal dwelling. How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!” (3:136).
May ALLAH give us place in jannah(heaven)…ameen
